HumanScale Freedom Chair

Most ergonomic office chairs come with a host of levers and knobs to enable the user to manually adjust the seat to suit their individual posture. Not so with the HumanScale Freedom Chair. Its “claim to fame” is that, once the chair has been initially adjusted to suit the individual, it does all the adjustments automatically whilst maintaining the user’s line of sight. Ingenious! And when you consider how much moving around we all do during our workday, imagine how much time that saves.

Not only is your line of sight catered for but the backrest also contours itself to maintain the optimum support for your back, regardless of your position.

Whilst most office chairs have their arms anchored to the seat, the Freedom’s arms are attached to the backrest and pivot, again automatically, as you move around. Thus keeping your arms and hands relaxed and positioned as they should be, regardless of your current posture when you're interacting with your other office furniture.

The headrest is also sensitive and, just like the rest of the chair, moves as you do to ensure that your head is supported as you recline.
